Mikuláš Preininger is a Ph.D. student and a research assistant at the Institute of Czech Language and Theory of Communication at Charles University, Faculty of Arts. His main research interests lie on the boundaries between psycholinguistics and sociolinguistics. As a member of the SocioLex project, he explores the social meanings associated with Czech words and how such meanings are modulated by the socio-demographic characteristics of speakers.
