Kateřina Chládková

Kateřina Chládková is an assistant professor at the Institute of Czech Language and Theory of Communication at Charles University, Faculty of Arts, and a researcher at the Institute of Psychology, Czech Academy of Sciences. She works on first- and second-language acquisition, speech processing and adaptation in infants and adults, using behavioural and neurophysiological methods. She’s currently the PI in two projects, one on speech sound learning in Czech newborns funded by Charles University (Primus) and one on word segmentation in infants and adults with varying dialectal backgrounds funded by the Czech Science Foundation.
