Jan Chromý is an associate professor at the Institute of Czech Language and Theory of Communication at Charles University, Faculty of Arts. His main research interests are psycholinguistics (mainly comprehension), linguistic methodology, and variationist sociolinguistics. From March 2021 till August 2023, he was an Alexander von Humboldt Scholarship holder at the University of Tübingen.
